Meet the pastoral team

Stephen Fei, Pastor

Stephen studied medicine in China. Seeing the pain and sufferings of patients caused by various diseases, in search of the meaning of life, he became a Christian in a house church in the city of Hangzhou. He worked in the University of NSW for four years and then went to study theology in Sydney Missionary & Bible College. Stephen is married to Miriam and they have one son.

Allan Mao, Pastor

When Christine and I moved to Hurstville 10 years ago, our hope was to live and work in this area for a long time. Our heart’s desire is help those new to Sydney to find a spiritual home where you truly belong. I was born in Shanghai, and became a Christian in Albuquerque, New Mexico, while studying IT Management in Omaha Nebraska. After I moved to Sydney, I spent another 5 years studying at Bible College (Sydney Missionary Bible College and the Presbyterian Theological Centre). Having lived in several countries over the past 20 years, I personally understand the joy, longings and struggles of being an immigrant. I look forward to meeting you at 4pm where I’ll be the pastor. The Lord has blessed us with two very energetic boys. While I am not with my family or church, you’ll most likely find me on my bike.

Dominic Cheung, Assistant Pastor

Dom is married to Jodie and serves South West Evangelical Church as an Assistant Pastor, focusing particularly on the Bankstown congregation and wider ministries involved with Magnification. Dom is excited by the gathering of God’s people - praising God and serving one another together on Sundays and throughout the week. In his spare time, Dom enjoys variations of dumplings, good coffee, playing racket sports and watching NBA games.
